8am - noon: Students presentations
1pm - 5pm: FactSage Mini-Workshop

On August 26th, 2021, you and your laptop are invited to join us at a Research Day / FactSage Mini-Workshop that will be held at the Centre for Research for Computational Thermochemistry (CRCT). The CRCT is located in Montreal in the north american eastern time zone. Currently the clocks are on eastern daylight time EDT.

The first half of the day (8:00 - 12:00) will consist mainly of students presentations on atomistic simulations in material science, pyrometallurgical process design and simulations, alloy design, synthesis and recycling, high T DSC, and more.

During the second half of the day (13:00 - 17:00) a FactSage mini-workshop will be given on advanced pyrometallurgical process simulations. Both sessions will be available on the Webex platform.

We encourage students to learn about the fascinating world of pyrometallurgical process simulations using FactSage.

You may attend the sessions FREE of charge, but places are limited.

Participants are encouraged to install FactSage Education 8.1 (FactSageEdu) - the Free FactSage 8.1 Demonstration Version that has just been released.
